More and More

Okay so a little bit more going on lately.  It's getting to the busy season at work and I've been pre-occupied with everything else going on around here.  First and foremost I've been selected to have a poem published by a group in Los Angeles.  Of course the prestige is good but the chance to win some money always makes it worth it.  I've been trying to blog more and increase sales of my book.  I can never say enough things about Today's Legacy especially since it is my baby.  Without which the rest of my books couldn't be possible.

It is the book that kicks off the entire series of books.  You get to know the story as well as the characters.  It is a journey of self-discovery in a world that is judgmental, critical and self-serving.  Joey combating the real world with the world that he had come to know throughout his life.  Joey is waking up to what is reality and not just childhood fantasy.  He is growing up and learning about what life has in-store for him.  New challenges, new adventures and new friends who help Joey out on his journey.  It is a must read book that will become an international best-seller.

The entire series has taken me years to perfect and work everything out.  I've gone through everything with a fine tooth comb.  It is a remarkable series that will quickly become a phenomenon bigger than J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series or Twilight.  Of course Today's Legacy is in the real world with real life situations, stories and issues that concern everyone of us on this planet.  There is a lot of play in the novels as well.  Giving into more serious issues such as bullying, love, suicide, sex, human rights and LGBT issues.  It is a well rounded series that has many different aspects that everyone can take away from.  Get your copy today.  Check out my webpage to find out how.  dwangel.webs.com

I'm Back

Rubick's Cube
Okay so I've been away for quite a long while.  I've been pretty busy for the last couple of months.  I've had a lot on my plate recently.  Now I'm working full time.  I have another poem published and awaiting for the actual book to arrive in the mail.  It should be any day now.  It's been busy.  I've been looking around for some fast cash as well.  I desperately want to move into a house and need the money to do so.  I've been looking around for ways to make some quick cash.  And one of the publishers sent me a website to make some money on.  So I just have to do a little web page and I can make some money on that through donations.  Which is a great way to get money to publish your own work.

I've been seriously thinking about doing that donation page.  If people want to donate to an artist to have him/her publish their work than that's fantastic.  I mean I can post my artwork on here as well to attract attention.  Plus I am still working on my 10th book.  It is going to be fantabulis.  I mean I'm 245 pages in and no where near done.  I have the 11th, 12th and 13th books all lined up.  I know exactly what is going to happen to the characters and the story line.  These last four or five books are more like seasons in a television episode.  My previous 9 books are more like movies.  I wish I could actually sit down with a publisher and tell them all about my books.  They would definitely want to publish them then.

Winter Scene
I've been sending out query letters for a long while now and haven't gotten much of a response.  Some companies are too small and others don't accept unsolicited manuscripts and yet others only want it in the mail.  It's frustrating to try and sell a billion dollar franchise when the means to do it is so narrow.  I know these books are huge and have mass market appeal.  It's just I need that investor to get started.  To go to a big publishing house and get published.  These books are amazing and they will be bigger than Harry Potter, Twilight or Hunger Games.  I know it.  There will be a massive following world wide.  Mark my words.

I'm Back

Okay so I deleted all my past blog posts because I was really scared.  I got freaked out so I deleted them all.  But now I'm back and happy.  Still freaked out but it's okay.  I've been searching myself and I know who I am and I love who I am.  I'm comfortable in my own skin.  If nobody can appreciate me and love me for who I am than it's their loss.  I'm a terrific person and a really great guy.  If you can't love yourself how can you expect anyone to love you.  And I love who I am.  Apparently all the new guys I'm meeting agree.  :D

Damon Fizzy
So for the past couple of months I've been sending my query letters to publishers around Canada.  I have only heard back from a couple of them.  They told me that it isn't what they're interested in at the moment and they'll pass.  One of my coworkers told me to ask them who would they recommend.  Which I never thought of so I'll ask.  Can't hurt to ask.  Ask and you shall receive.  So I've been focussed on that.  And of course I've been looking for a new job as well.  I'm ready to move on to something full time and make some money.  I've been watching a lot of Damon Fizzy on You Tube.  He's amazing.  I love him.  He always puts a smile on my face.  Damon Fizzy is amazing.  You have got to watch him.  He's funny.

Other than that I've been focussing on myself and getting better.  I had gall bladder surgery back in January.  It was excruciating pain.  I nearly died.  They had to rush me off to surgery.  Okay so what happened was I was in and out of the hospital from Christmas to the day I actually had surgery.  January 25, 2012.  The doctors didn't know what it was that I had.  It wasn't the standard pains for gall stones.  They thought it was appendicitis, then kidney stones, then gall stones.  They couldn't figure out what was wrong.  They even thought it was a mental disorder.  My therapist didn't think so.  All the tests were negative for heart attack, gall bladder, liver infection, aids, cancer, kidney stones, appendicitis and ulcers.  The doctor was going to take out my gall bladder anyway because it made the most sense that all the symptoms could be gall stones.  I was admitted and in the hospital for a few days before the surgery.  The night before my surgery I had a severe attack.  Morphine wasn't working and the anti-inflammatories did nothing for me.  The pain was excruciating.  I thought I was going to die.  I even told my best friend to have a good life and that I was going to die.  I loved him so much that I didn't know if I was going to make it or not.  They did a blood test and had to rush me to surgery.  If I didn't have surgery when I did I wouldn't have survived the night.  The gall bladder was three times the normal size.  The recovery is taking forever to get back to 100% but Dee Fizzy is keeping me smiling.

So I'm back at work and back to looking for publishers, editing my novels and looking for a new job.  I want to make a lot of money.  Gotta pay the bills.  So I'll keep you posted on the progress I'm making.  And my poem "Goodnight My Love" is published by World Poetry Movement in their new book coming out.  I've already received a certificate in the mail saying I'm published.  Just waiting for the book now.  I'm so excited.  Of course it's a poem dedicated to the one I love with all my heart.

Stay Fabulous,

Angel
